Lough Corrib Angling Federation was founded to advance the following policies and concerns common to all affiliated clubs.

The protection of the Lough Corrib  from pollution and damage.

The enhancement and continual development of the Lough Corrib system as an internationally recognised angling facility.

The identification of biologic threats to the Corrib, such as invasive foreign plants and animals.

The finest trout in Ireland are caught on Lough Corrib. If you are starting out, here are some helpful guidelines.

SAVE OUR LAKE

Cairde Loch Coiribe is committed to the maintenance and development of the spawning and nursery areas of the Lough Corrib Catchment.

Without these critical spawing areas being kept clean and maintained, the natural stock of trout, and other wildlife on Lough Corrib is under threat.
